Dr. Ashwini B. Desai

Dr. Ashwini B. Desai holds a PhD in English literature from Tumkur University. She is the co-founder of Aarohi Research Foundation, Bengaluru. She has been a Fellow at the India Studies Unit, Centre for Educational and Social Studies (CESS) and later has served as Assistant Professor at the Centre for Study of Cultures, Chanakya University, Bengaluru. She has also been the principal investigator of a project on obstacles (Upadhis) in reading Indian texts for the IKS division, Govt of India. She was also a Co-Principal Investigator to a Translation Project from Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.She specializes in understanding nature and problems in the domain of literature. Her work also extends into characterizing the problems associated with the public discourse in India.
Dr. Ashwini is also an Assistant Professor in The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), Bengaluru.
